Advice on what montior to buy.Also Q bout dual monitor setups 22-24" is what im looking for.

I am looking at purchasing a nice new much larger monitor than what i am using atm (17" that came with my comp)I dont want to spend over $600AU and would pref something around $3-400AU if i can still get something decent. either 22-24". I was also looking at if i am able, and if others have used a HD flat screen TV with the correct input for use with a computer?

What specs should i look for when deciding on o monitor? what are your reccomendations?

1 more question, can someone point me in the direction of somewhere to get some info on setting up dual monitors.
